 Talking Academics
Talking Academics is a project partly funded by the Vice
Chancellor's Office Dr. Pellert. Support was awarded by Doris Carstensen.
The parties involved are Carol McCoullough and Valerie
Arndt, plus NGB. Final versions of this project will run on WebCT servers in
Exeter and Graz.
Materials are based on mini-lectures given by academics from
various departments at the University of Exeter. Their purpose is to develop
listening and note-taking skills, plus vocabulary, awareness of organisation
and relevant language marking lecture structure, as well as awareness of
some pronunciation issues.
