Dear NG,
Generally speaking I must admit that nothing really important happened within the last two days. However, we had to do a mini-survey, which was quite interesting. I really preferred the research work, because it was quite amusing to receive so many different answers from people working in nearly the same branch. How came? Well, actually we interviewed people from different positions working in the bank and the answers between managers and people working right at the desk differed a lot. What I really would like to hear within the following weeks is some more information on British markets, the Stock Market and probably more Business vocabulary too. I want to mention that the way Sue and Jeff teach is really fantastic, because even though they are not teaching in the same way I benefit a lot from both of them. I think Sue is the typical British woman. She is always friendly, always has a smile on her face and is always very tolerant when people are making some errors. Furthermore, I guess she is really in teaching grammar and pronunciation and these are two main topics I want to improve. Then we have got Jeff, who is, as it seems, coming straight from doing business. Consequently, he is able to explain us a lot about British companies and economy. We are very lucky to have him as our project tutor as well. Of course, I forgot the project, which is very interesting. We are right at the start, but I guess our action plan is quite good and so we can look positively into the future,
Yours Georg
