Since my latest log entry there was nothing-special going on. Well, a new student came to our flat, a Japan girl and another student left our flat, because he got a flat in town. We had also a really nice kitchen party where lot of people came and we had some beer and looked a film. The name of the film was "The sixth sense". Then I wrote all my post cards which I want to sent to my family and all my friends and it took me hours to write them all, because I don't want just write: "Nice greetings from Exeter".
Today we were in town and had a lovely long walk near the Kay and then we went to a nice take away coffee and had some tee and muffins, which we ate, in front of the Cathedral. Afterwards we went through town and took some pictures of the Cathedral, nice houses and the nice typical old small shops. When we walked through town, there were many homeless and unemployed people sitting on street. Some of them were asking the peasants for money. That's something I really don't like, because most of them were really young men who could easily find a job.
In class we worked on our project and we made the content and our action plan how we want to work. Then we wanted to contact the "chamber of economics 2 but it was not possible, because they don't work on Fridays. So we will do that on Monday. Yesterday we went to town and there we had to make a field research about professions. We asked lots of people who work in different shops about their job and then we presented our results to our colleges. It was a good experience for us, because on the one hand we had to make interviews and on the other hand we had to present it and speak in front of our colleges. The feedback, I especially got, was not so great, because I don't really know if it was all right or not. Today we got some sheets with very useful and interesting phrases for our presentation. I only need to study them and keep them by heart.
