log_3

Today it is Sunday and it is raining. It is the first time that it is raining since I am {1} here in Exeter. Now I feel that I am in Britain. Well, since last week I did {2} lots of work not only in class but also for on my own. First of all, my project group and I were at a big company and had an interview with a very nice man called Mr. Roger. He told us a lot about the situation of GB and the Euro, he tried to give us the reasons why most of the British are against the Euro and why their way of thinking is how it is. We spoke to him for 1 hour and 30 minutes and afterwards he gave us the name of three international trading companies, which we should contact. In one of these companies a friend of Mr. Roger works and we should contact him to get information how {3} they handle with {4} the Euro. So we tried to make an appointment with him and hope that he can "give" us some time to speak about the Euro.

Last week there were also lots of social activities I really enjoined. We were at the festival in Sidmouth and I had a really really good time there. We went to the beach and stayed there a couple of hours, then we walked through the town and listened to different kind of music but we also saw artists, clowns, … I really enjoined this time. We had also a very strange experience in a pub. We were 10 students and went into this pub and sat down and the waitress was so unpolit {5} I couldn't believe. The first thing she "asked" was if would consume something or not, but the way she asked us was not really friendly. We all were really surprised, because she wasn't happy at all, that we came in and consumed some beer. In Austria every waitress would be happy if a group of students came in, because they consume (sometimes) a lot. But all in all this evening was great. Then we had the international food night that {6} is a really good idea, because it was funny to cook the dishes and it was really great to taste the different dishes. Some of them very really strange but I liked them all. Only the soup the Taiwanese {7} made was too spice {8} for me. And I loved all the sweet dishes they were great. But I have to add that I was really sad that our flag wasn't there. I am sure they only "forgot" it but it hurts me really. And now special thanks to you Norbert that you made an Austrian flag for us!

On Saturdays we went to Torque {9} by coach. We wen to the beach, sat there for hours and just watched the sea. I really love the sea, because it is something very special for me. In Austria we only have big lakes but the sea is something really great, because it shows the widens of world. You look until you see {10} the horizon and you think there is the worlds end.

Oh yes, some nights before I saw five falling {11} stars. I was at the lake and sat there on the grass lookinf into {12} heaven {13}, which is really beautiful here. I could see such a lot of stars I normally only saw {14} when I lied {15} on the beach somewhere in Greece. When I saw the first falling star I thought that it was only my imagine {16} but after the second I knew that it was reality and then I saw three more falling stars. Which means that I had five wishes free…I really enjoy my time here in Exeter and it is a pity that time go {17} by so fast.
