log_3

1. Since my last log entry I heard a lot of {1} business behaviour in Britain in my class. Out of class I was in Sidmouth by {2} the Folk Festival. There were many people British people {3} who danced and played folk music. It was interesting for me to be in contact with them. Because {4} on the university campus I live with Japanese and other cultures but not with British people. During the festival I went with some students in {5} a pub and the owners of the pub were very unfriendly and we had to go out. We were surprised but it was okay for us. We decided to look for an other pub. The people of this pub were also very unfriendly. We had to go to the bar ordering our drinks and must pay money for the plastic glasses. We got the money back when they saw that the glasses were not broken.

2. I talked to a Korean boy about his culture. He told me something about their behaviour when the {6} meet their friends. I was surprised when I told me that he has only friends in his age. His friends are boys and girls but all are in the same age. When he meet a boy who is older than him he must be very polite. This is unbelievable for me.

3. I changed a little bit my view of English culture especially of English people. The young people are very aggressive and I feel that they don't like foreigners.

4. I learned some new presentation skills. For me was it very useful to learn how to write a curriculum vitae I Britain. Perhaps I will stay for a practice in London. Also it would be nice to learn how to write an application.
